The task was to create a type portrait of a celebrity, mine being Ms. Frank-n-Furter from Rocky Horror Picture Show. I elected to individually manipulate each letter form and reduce them to their anatomy in order to create dimension within my piece and the form of the face. This piece contains 7.5 thousand individually hand-placed letters.
