The task was to create animated content for the brand Bibibop, a chain food restaurant that specializes in gluten-free Asian fusion bowls. Pinterest is heavily visually oriented. A large appeal of Bibibop is how clean their food looks unlike fast food restaurants, hence their catchphrase ‘Eat Well. Be Well’. The visual appeal and colorful appearance of their bowls pairs well with the aesthetic-based engagement of Pinterest.

Since Bibibop promotes healthy eating, the created campaign is ‘Eat Like an Athlete.’ Athletes are know for nourishing their bodies in every possible way for a competitive edge, and the advertisement wants consumers to follow in an athlete’s footsteps.

EAT LIKE AN ATHLETE

To give the campaign a face and specific endorsement, Bibibop would partner with Naomi Osaka, professional tennis player and a four-time Grand Slam singles champion. This gains exposure for the company outside of the food industry.

The advertisement’s engagement comes from its animation and exclusive experience. As majority of Pinterest is flat images, the animation would catch the eyes of viewers. They would also be further driven by the experience of goat cheese and quinoa, two ingredients Bibibop does not offer. It offers exclusive flavors to those who spend money with the company.
